01 / THE APPROACH

A finished project.
One less loose end.

The permit closes. The paperwork scatters. The deposit stays outstanding. Replevy brings the follow-through into one clear process.

Know what’s out there.

Match each deposit to its permit, payer, and project. Start with a clear record of what was paid and what has come back.

A reconciled deposit register

Give every gap a next step.

See which receipts are missing, which deadlines matter, and who needs to act. Keep the evidence moving with the project.

A prioritized action list

Close the financial loop.

Prepare the available refund paperwork for your review. Track your submission, the city’s response, and the money actually received.

THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

Good questions.
Straight answers.

How does annual billing work?

The annual plan is $5,400 paid upfront for 12 months, equivalent to $450 per month. That saves $600 compared with 12 monthly payments of $500. Both billing options cover the same agreed service scope; annual payment does not include unlimited cases.

Do I have to subscribe after the pilot?

No. The pilot costs $500 for up to 10 active deposits over 30 days and does not automatically become a subscription. After the pilot, we agree on the ongoing case volume and included work before you choose monthly or annual billing. The pilot fee is separate from the subscription.

What kind of deposits do you handle?

The pilot covers refundable construction and demolition recycling deposits tied to City of San Diego permits. We confirm the jurisdiction, payer, records, and case status before accepting a project. County permits and other municipalities have different rules and are outside this first pilot.

Is this software or a service?

We’re starting with a hands-on administrative service. You receive an organized register, evidence review, prepared paperwork where records are available, and a clear handoff. The tracker above illustrates the product direction; it is not a live customer account.

We already track recycling. Why Replevy?

Recycling records are one part of the process. Our focus is the financial follow-through: who paid the deposit, what is needed to request it back, and whether the refund was received. If your existing team or tools already handle that well, you may not need us.

Do you guarantee a refund?

No. Refund eligibility depends on the project, compliance, supporting evidence, deadlines, and city review. The fee covers administrative work. We do not handle forfeiture appeals or legal disputes, and the city’s processing time may extend beyond the 30-day pilot.

What will you need from our team?

For the agreed cases: deposit receipts, permit records, final inspection information, waste management forms, and recycling or disposal evidence. Your team verifies the facts and submits applications. We don’t need your bank login.
